Price list

Membership fee is 1.500 ISK. per year. The fee is to cover costs associated with registration. The applicant must reconfirm annually the waiting list registration. If the yearly membership fee is not paid the applicant is removed from the waiting list.

Allocation-confirmation fee is 30.000 ISK. When an applicant is allocated an apartment s/he must confirm their acceptance within seven days from allocation and pay a confirmation fee. The confirmation fee is non-refundable if the applicant cancels his application, otherwise, it will form a part of the security deposit according to the rental agreement. If a confirmation fee is not paid within the time limit indicated, the application is canceled but the applicant keeps his/her place on the waiting list.

Insurance fee is the equivalent of a three months' rent. The tenant can also choose to buy insurance from an authorized party. Insurance fee must be confirmed at the rental agreement signature. The security deposit shall be returned at the end of the rent, once an inspection of the housing and final settlement have taken place.

An extra copy of the rent contract is 1.000 ISK.
