First apartments were ready in August 2019. The project was completed in April 2020. Pets are allowed, with strict rules, in some apartments on the ground level in houses nr. 132 and 33 in Urðarbrunnur. See Bjarg's rules on keeping pets. Reykjavík Social Housing (Félagsbústaðir) owns and rents out 20% of the apartments in Urðarbrunnur.
