The houses are on two floors, with 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. First apartments were ready for rent in November 2023. Pets are allowed in a few apartments in the building but applicants must mark in the application if they want an apartment allowing pets. See Bjarg's rules on keeping pets.

The apartment has entry, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with a kitchen. Storage space is inside the apartment and a wardrobe in the master bedroom. Shared stroller and bicycle storage is on the ground floor.
Pets are not allowed in the apartment.
Estimated rental price ISK. 206.884 per month, linked monthly to the consumer price index, starting in June 2026. Tenants are generally entitled to housing benefits and in some cases special housing support to meet the rent.
The tenant pays for their own electricity consumption according to the apartment’s electricity meter and their share of the operating costs of the common areas. The operating costs of the common areas include shared expenses allocated among the apartments in the building and cover, among other things, heating of the apartment (in proportion to the size of the apartment), electricity and heating of the common areas, and cleaning and maintenance of the common areas (including garden maintenance and snow removal). The proportion in the common cost is ISK 7.745 per month.

The lowest number on the waiting list determines allocation. You must also be a member within ASÍ or BSRB for at least 16 months, out of the last 24 months, and be within a certain income limit, income may not exceed 9.138.000/13.500.000 (individual/couple) + 2.254.000 per child, according to the latest tax return. The total assets of the tenants shall not be higher than 9.874.000 ISK.
To be eligible for allocation, you need to check the location and apartment on "my pages" on Bjarg's website before June 22nd, 2026.
