Allocations at Bjarg in connection with apartments purchased for residents of Grindavík are based on:

a) postal code 240
b) waiting list number
c) family size
d) if certain conditions are met, they can be found here

If it is not possible to allocate to an applicant who is below the income and property limits according to Article 10 the owner of the apartment is allowed to rent it to a tenant who exceeds the income and property limits. Market rent may be demanded. However, such contracts must not be for a period longer than one year.

If it is not possible to allocate to an applicant from Grindavík (a person on the list from "Almannavarnir" due to evacuation in Grindavík), the apartment can be allocated according to Bjarg's general rules regarding allocation. However, such contracts should not be made for longer period than 18 months.

A 27-apartment, 3-story apartment building on three floors. The building has two elevators Built-in refrigerator and dishwasher. Quartz stone on the counters in both the kitchen and bathroom. Bright living room with windows from floor-to-ceiling. South and southwest balcony. The house stands close to the sea and has a magnificent sea view from the higher floors.
